The Staples Center

Project overview

The Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles is home to two legendary NBA teams, the Lakers and the Clippers. The arena is also home to the women’s NBA team, the Sparks, and LA’s NHL team, the Kings. It has also hosted the Grammy awards 17 times and will host the 2028 Olympic Basketball. Naturally, The Splash Lab was delighted to be involved in the washroom redevelopment of this prestigious venue.  

The brief

The Splash Lab was tasked with creating a basin system that was functional for the space, was hardwearing enough for high-footfall traffic and aesthetically pleasing.

The solution

We fitted lengths of single-user Monolith basins within the restroom redevelopment in Glacier White Corian. Because the units were specified in modules, we could create the perfect hand-washing solution customized for the space.
